Adolphe Mafoua, MD

Dr. Adolphe Mafoua serves as the Director of the Ambulatory Treatment Center of Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo, which specializes in the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS.  Dr. Mafoua’s research is focused primarily on HIV, STIs, cancers, the prevention of maternal to child transmission, and tuberculosis. He is a teacher and trainer in HIV therapeutic education. Dr. Mafoua holds a Doctor of Medicine from the Marien Ngouabi University of Brazzaville, and a diploma in HIV, STIs and reproductive health from Paris VII-Diderot.
