Dr Ali Alisho Mawazo coordinates research activities in the DRC for the Protestant University of Congo and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has extensive experience in diabetes mellitus care and patient education, family planning, and research related to infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis and STIs. His main areas of interest are project management and monitoring and evaluation of public health projects.
Since completing his medical degree at the Bel-Campus Technological University in Kinshasa, Dr. Alisho Mawazo has completed trainings in health project management and worked on various national and international initiatives. He has held positions at the Kinshasa School of Public Health and the Protestant University in Congo, serving on the monitoring and evaluation team and project manager for the Collaborative Improvement of Data Quality project.
