Dr. April D. Kimmel has a decade of experience in policy analysis, simulation modeling techniques, and cost-effectiveness and comparative effectiveness analysis using principles of implementation science for HIV-related decision making. Her work is motivated by a desire to inform HIV policy in systematic, transparent, efficient, and collaborative ways.
Dr. Kimmel has a PhD in Health Policy and a SM in Population & International Health from Harvard University. She is an Associate Professor in Health Behavior & Policy at Virginia Commonwealth University.
