Benjamin Muhoza has extensive experience in data management and data quality assurance and serves as Data Manager for IeDEA Rwanda. His expertise spans research IT infrastructure management, database administration, and the design and implementation of large-scale digital health and research data systems. He has played a key role in national and international projects, including leading the implementation and support of OpenMRS across Rwandan health facilities participating in CA-IeDEA. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to OpenMRS development, as well as extensive survey development using tools such as CSPro, REDCap, ACASI, CSPro and KoBoToolbox.
Mr. Muhoza holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and has received additional specialized training in Enterprise Java for E-Health Software Development and Implementation (EHSDI) related to OpenMRS. He is an experienced Java and C# programmer, trainer, and mentor, with a strong background in developing web, desktop, and mobile applications, including contributions to several OpenMRS modules.
