Benjamin Muhoza leads data management and data quality assurance in Rwanda. He supports the implementation of OpenMRS across all Rwandan health facilities that participate in CA-IeDEA and manages project databases under the Einstein-Rwanda research and capacity building program (ER-RCBP) in Rwanda Military Hospital.
Mr. Muhoza holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Madras University, India, with additional training in Enterprise Java for E-Health Software Development and Implementation (EHSDI) related to OpenMRS. He has extensive experience in the development of web, windows and mobile applications, and has contributed to the development of OpenMRS modules. He is also an experienced java programmer and trainer. He has served as an EHSDI mentor, and he teaches information technology courses at Kigali Independent University.
