Dr. Dominique Mahambou Nsonde is the Principal Investigator for Central Africa IeDEA in Republic of Congo (ROC).  Based at the Centre de Traitement Ambulatoire of Brazzaville, Dr. Mahambou Nsonde is responsible for leading scientific research and capacity-building activities of the IeDEA ROC program. Dr. Mahambou Nsonde also serves as a senior manager in research and epidemiology at the National AIDS Program in Brazzaville. His research interests include HIV, hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis, STIs and cancer. 

Dr. Mahambou Nsonde completed his medical degree at the Marien Ngouabi University of Brazzaville, with additional training in comprehensive HIV care, epidemiological research and public health completed at the University of Ouagadougou, the University of Paris VI Pierre Marie-Curie, Victor Segalen University (Bordeaux, France), and Aix Marseille University, University of Caen and MediAxe training.
