Dr. Fidèle Lumande Kasindi is the ESP-AECOM DRC Program Manager in the Democratic Republic of Congo and leads a collaborative data quality improvement initiative and several other related projects.
Dr. Lumande holds a medical degree from the University of Kinshasa and has eight years of experience in research and surveillance of infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and hepatitis, as well as in monitoring and evaluation of national and international public health initiatives. Before joining the Kinshasa School of Public Health, Dr. Lumande was an analyst with the National Guinea Worm Eradication Program, where he participated in awareness-raising activities and case investigations of Guinea worm disease. He also participated in the official certification of eradication as the head of the Mont-NGAFULA II health zone in 2016.
