Lydia Businge serves as the Childhood Sub-Cancer Registry Coordinator under the Rwanda Cancer Registry at Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC), supporting cancer surveillance efforts for the Rwanda National Cancer Control Program. Ms. Businge previously served as the National Cancer Registry Coordinator for Rwanda and she has contributed to strengthening cancer registration capacity across Africa through collaborations with the African Cancer Registry Network (AFCRN), the Global Initiative for Cancer Registry Development (GICR), and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).
Proficient in CanReg5, DHIS2–Oncology Tracker, and Electronic Medical Record systems-health information systems, Lydia has an MPH and is a Global Certified Cancer Registrar.
