Dr. Mark H. Kuniholm’s work focuses on hepatitis and liver disease research, exploring the correlates and consequences of liver disease among individuals with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa. His areas of interest include HIV and viral hepatitis epidemiology and sub-Saharan Africa-specific public health.
Dr. Kuniholm has a PhD in Epidemiology from John Hopkins University and a MS in Epidemiology from University of California, Davis. He is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at the University at Albany and an Adjunct Research Assistant Professor in Epidemiology & Population Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
