Dr. Peter Ebasone’s research interests include non-communicable diseases and HIV, genomics, artificial intelligence, and big data applications in healthcare, including leveraging data-driven methods to advance evidence-based care and public health decision-making. His past research has examined the burden and determinants of cardiometabolic comorbidities among people living with HIV enrolled in care at IeDEA sites in Cameroon. He currently serves as Director of Research Operations at the Clinical Research Education Networking and Consultancy (CRENC) in Cameroon and coordinates IeDEA activities across sites in Cameroon.
He obtained his PhD from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Buea, Cameroon.
