Dr. Zacharie Ndizeye is an investigator with IeDEA Burundi. Dr. Ndizeye has extensive experience in the field of HIV, health care delivery in low-resource settings, and monitoring and evaluation. His research interests include HPV-related cancers among people living with HIV, especially cervical cancer, and improving maternal and child health. Currently a Professor in Medicine, Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Burundi’s Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ndizeye holds an MD from the University of Burundi, a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Antwerp, an MPH from the Institute of Tropical Medicine of Antwerp, Belgium and an Inter-University Diploma in HIV Care from Paris XIII University and University of Burundi.
